Attention:
If you filed an extension on your taxes, the deadline to get them into the office for Kristin to prepare them is September 15, 2016. This will allow Kristin enough time to finish them by the IRS deadline of October 15, 2016.

Reading recommendation

The book for this month is “The Total Money Makeover”, by Dave Ramsey.  In this book, Ramsey exposes the dangers of cash advance, rent to own, debt consolidation and attacks the illusions and deceptions of the American dream, which encourages nothing but overspending and massive amounts of debt. As Ramsey declars, “Don’t even consider keeping up with the Joneses, They’re broke!”  The Total Money Makeoverworks because it’s simple, it gets to the heart of the money problems: you!
Events:
We would like to thank everyone who was able to attend the Lunch-N-Learn about the new labor laws. A special thanks to Victoria with ADP for the presentation and the lunch that was provided. This was a great success, and we hope to have more topics to discuss at a future date.

All classes are held at our office, and start promptly at 9 am and go until 1 pm. The classes are $147.  The class sizes are limited to 5 people, and fill up quickly. Each attendee will receive a free workbook to keep and take notes in, lunch, and a free ½ hour consultation after class to answer any remaining questions you may have once you get back to the office. A Recent SuccessEvery year Kristin tries to volunteer at the New Teacher Luncheon that the Waller Area Chamber of Commerce holds. It was held on August 4th, 2016 and close to 80 new teachers attended. We were able to have our new employee Brianna to help out this year, and so many people raved about how sweet she was. The teachers love it and it makes them feel so welcomed to the community.”
