At Gundersons Bookkeeping, we recommend the concept of Profit First for all of our clients. Author Mike Michalowicz teaches business owners to “transform their business from a cash-eating monster to a money-making machine.”

Our goal is to have all tax returns completed by June 30th so that they can be picked up, paid for, and filed by July 9th. Kristin and Emilee will not be in the office the week of the tax deadline, and therefore will not be able to file returns at that time.
We will not work on tax returns in July.

In order to ensure that your taxes are completed by our June 30th deadline, we requested that all tax paperwork be into our office by now. If you have missed this deadline, please get us your tax information ASAP and we will try our hardest to get your taxes done by June 30th. If we determine that we cannot get your taxes done by June 30th, we will file an extension for you. Any taxes that come in after June 12th will automatically have an extension filed for them for a fee of $46.

Individual tax returns as well as quarterly estimated tax payments are due by July 15th.
We will still be taking preventative measures and precautions including sanitizing door knobs, handles, phones, pens, etc. If you are still uncomfortable coming into the office, please know that we can pretty much do anything virtually – meetings, taxes, payments, etc. Just let us know!

We ask that you please continue to be patient with us on returning phone calls during this time, as we get back in to the groove of things. If something is very important – please email info@gundersonsbookkeeping.com- this email is being checked Monday-Thursday and Sam will notify us.
