Update on Kristi our Bookkeeper

Just a reminder that the office will be closed on July 4th, 2022. We will be open again on July, 5th at 9am. Please be patient and we hope that you have a wonderful and safe holiday!

-July’s Employee Spotlight-

My name is Kristi Jordan and I have been a part of the Gundersons Bookkeeping team for 2 years.  I have three kids, they are 22, 20 , and 10.  I also have a 3-year-old granddaughter that is the light of my life.  I live in Magnolia and have lived in the area for 30 years.  When I am not at work, I am somewhere outdoors, usually close to some form of water, my kids and I love discovering new State Parks.  I love my clients here at Gundersons and I look forward to building relationships with all our new clients.

MID-YEAR REVIEW

July! It’s time to start making your mid-year review to go over your bookkeeping and start tax planning. We HIGHLY encourage our bookkeeping clients to book an hour long meeting, via zoom, so that Kristin can go over your numbers with you. Make those goals for the rest of the year, and where you want your business to be in the next 3-5 years, and make some action steps to get there.
Is your hourly rate still correct? What is your “keep the lights” on number? If the year were to end June 30th, how much money would I have to pay in taxes? Knowing these things is crucial to growing your business.

For our monthly bookkeeping clients, please click here to get on Kristin’s calendar (which fills up quickly)

For clients that are NOT monthly bookkeeping clients, and still want to have this type of meeting, you are more than welcome to make an appointment with Kristin; however, there is a $112.50 fee for each half hour booked with Kristin. Also, Kristin will need your numbers sent to her in advance for any tax planning to occur. If you would like to book a mid-year meeting with Kristin and you are NOT a monthly bookkeeping client already, please click here to schedule an appointment with Kristin.

It’s Summer Time!

That means our team is rotating throughout the summer taking vacations. When you talk to your bookkeeper, make sure to ask them about it! Ask Kristin about her adventures camping with the boy scouts in Yellowstone. Ask Kristi about her vacation to Galveston, where she went on a guided fishing trip with her son, and to Schlitterbahn. You can ask Samantha about her trip to Dollywood (she is currently there until July 5th!). Make sure to ask Lydia about her Church Camp! Ask Monica about her beach vacation! And make sure to ask Amanda about her sister’s wedding that she attended. Kristin will also be going to the Ozarks / Hot Springs area in Arkansas in July!

Action Steps from EntreLeadership!
One of the items we took away from our EntreLeadership Summit is doing more team building. With us all working remotely, it has been hard for us to get together regularly. We have added to our calendar a monthly get together. This month, we did a family pool day at Kristin’s house. It was great to see everyone in person again, and get to enjoy the pool on a hot summer day, and oh, Kristin’s cooking! Another thing you can ask Kristin about the next time you talk to her!

The Real Grind Coffee shop in Waller will be the new location that you can meet with Lydia or Monica to pick up any of your original tax documents that you gave us or your tax return. Please click here and schedule an appointment to meet.

The address for the coffee shop is: 31315 Farm to Market 2920 Suite #4, Waller, TX 77484
