EntreLeadership is a yearly summit held by Dave Ramsey. Kristin has gone for the past 4 years in person and this year she wanted the whole team to experience it virtually.  This summit is good for every business owner. 
 Here are some of our biggest takeaways…
From Samantha: “I LOVED when Jamie talked about people giving her a no, but God giving her a knowing and how we should focus more on the knowing than the no’s.
I also liked when Patrick said that you can’t become good at the things you don’t love or you’ll lose who you are.”
From Kristi: “Changing my relationship with rejection and cheering on myself!
I also loved learning my strengths and how to use those to go farther!”
From Amanda: “I liked when Jay Leno said to always worked 2 jobs, and live off of 1 job, and save the other income from the 2nd one.”
From Monica: “I liked when it talked about how everyone has a gift and that you can implement that in your purpose.”
From Kristin: “Rejection is redirection. Strengthen my faith and keep on going. My calling is depending on it.”
From Lydia: ” I learned about a 16 minute exercise to help get rid of intrusive thoughts. You have to close your eye for 2 minutes and write down all of the intrusive thoughts that came to your mind and then repeat this 8 times.”  

June’s Employee Spotlight

My name is Samantha King and I am a bookkeeper here at Gundersons Bookkeeping. I started working for Kristin almost 3 years ago, and have enjoyed being part of her team. I started as a receptionist at the office in Waller to get back into the workforce as my oldest daughter was starting kindergarten. I’ve been married to my husband, Clint, for 10 years and we have 2 girls – Kaylee is 8 and Kenna is 1. We moved from Hempstead to Seabrook in September of 2020 and have loved being close to the coast. I have enjoyed working with my clients over the past couple of years, and look forward to growing in my role!

Here are a few words from her:
“I am so excited to be back! I just recently graduated from Texas Woman’s University this May with my Bachelors in Accounting! I will be back for this summer continuing as an intern/receptionist. After that, in the fall I will be finishing my last season of collegiate volleyball at Texas Woman’s University as well as start my Masters in Accounting!”
